These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our Verdaneon Application suite (“App”), the web-based management portal (“Portal”), and our public website (“Site”). By accessing or using any of these services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App, Portal, or Site.


1. Eligibility

You may use our services regardless of age; however, if you are under 18, you must obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian. Use of our services is prohibited in any jurisdiction subject to embargoes, sanctions, or legal restrictions under European Union law or other applicable regulations.


2.  License and Usage Rights

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App, Portal, and Site for your own lawful purposes.

You may not: 

  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the software
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify any part of the services
  • Use the services to scan or target systems without authorization

You retain full control of your scanned data, but we retain all rights, title, and interest in the App, Portal, Site, and all intellectual property related to them.


3.  Acceptable Use

You agree to use the services only for lawful and authorized purposes. You are solely responsible for: 

  • Ensuring you have permission to scan any system or network
  • All configurations and targets you define
  • Complying with applicable data protection, cybersecurity, and export control laws

You must not use the services to:

  • Violate laws or third-party rights
  • Perform denial-of-service attacks or disrupt services
  • Impersonate others or falsify data origin
  • Circumvent authentication, licensing, or security protections

4. Trial Access

We may offer limited-time free trials of paid plans. Trials are provided solely for evaluation purposes and:

  • May not be used for commercial deployments
  • Are subject to feature, time, or support limits
  • End automatically after the stated period unless converted to a paid plan

We reserve the right to revoke or restrict trial access at any time, and to deny multiple or repeated trials to the same entity or individual.


5. Support

We offer two levels of support:

  • Free Tier:
    Community-based support via forums or mailing list, without guarantees of response or resolution.
  • Paid Tier:
    Priority support via email and ticketing system during published support hours.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue support services at any time.


6. Updates and Availability

We may provide updates or enhancements to the App or Portal automatically and without notice. These updates may change features, improve security, or fix bugs. 

We make no guarantees about uptime, and reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App, Portal, or Site at any time without liability.


7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The services are provided "as-is" and "as-available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim all warranties including:

  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Merchantability
  • Title and non-infringement
  • Accuracy or reliability of scan results
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation

You use the services at your own risk.


8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
  • Damage to third-party systems, or
  • System crashes, denial-of-service events, or service disruptions resulting from use of the App

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the services, if any, during the six months preceding the claim.


9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the services if you:

  • Violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
  • Engage in unauthorized or illegal use
  • Fail to comply with subscription or licensing terms

You may stop using the services at any time.


10. Data Ownership and Access

You retain ownership of your data. We implement a zero-access architecture: scan data is encrypted and accessible only to you. Even though data is hosted on our infrastructure, we have no technical ability to access your scan contents.

11. AI-Powered Features

Some components of the service utilize artificial intelligence and large language models (LLMs) to analyze scan data and generate security interpretations. These may include risk scores, summaries, vulnerability groupings, or prioritization suggestions.

These outputs are provided for informational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, no automated analysis can replace expert validation. You remain responsible for reviewing and verifying results before taking action.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.


13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the services after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
